You're 8 months old today (that leaves Momma a mere 4 months to pull together your first birthday bash! so glad we have pinterest to get our creative juices flowing)!
After a bout with baby bronchitis, we're down to two breathing treatments a day (started at 6 a day)... You're definitely acting healthier and happier every day (which is weird because you were so happy every moment, even when sickest).
You have four teeth, with two more (on top) almost poked through!
You're sitting like a pro... and Momma suspects you are going to be pulling yourself up any day now (she saw you pulling yourself halfway up in the cradle! eek! might be time to move to the big crib?!). You haven't shown any desire to actually "move" yet (you roll all over, but haven't done any scooting or crawling), but we predict that's coming any day now, too.
Sleep this month has been pretty rough between the multiple teeth poking through, and then being sick...
Oh - but see that blanket in the picture? That is your lovey (another thing Ethan never had...) This blanket calms you... you hug it, and chew on it.. and we pretty much cannot go anywhere without it. And they don't make it anymore (it was actually Ethan's as a baby)... so Momma is considering cutting it in half and keeping 1/2 in a VERY safe place.
Eating is going "ok"... you're a pro at eating Mum-Mum crackers, and you like rice cereal, your bottles, and nursing... but eating purees from a spoon have become less exciting for you, for now. We'll keep keeping on, introducing new flavors each week - and you'll get the hang of things!
Babbling is probably your newest trick... we've definitely heard "da dada da da da" and "bu bu bu bu" (no mamama yet, but that's ok...).
At school and at home, you're a pretty content guy - and are great at playing by yourself for short periods of time (I don't remember Ethan ever doing that! haha). You love dumping the containers of cars and blocks, after getting the lids off by yourself!
